オブリヴィオンと RUN AWAY
こんにちわ。
ようやく転職きまり無事９月入社が正式に決定致しました。
第一希望のファーマコビジランス部での業務です。
そんなこんなで、英語、医薬統計、有機化学の勉強に終われ読書の時間がほんと少なかったですが、先月読み終えた２冊について記録しときます、
向かって左はオブリヴィオン（邦書）右側はRUN AWAY（洋書）
結論からいうとどちらも面白かったです♪ジャンルが全く違うので良さは違いますが、続きが気になって気になってとページをじゃんじゃんめくって夢中で読んだのはRUN AWAYです。
まずはオブリヴィオンから紹介したいと思います。
ネタバレなしで頑張りたいと思います！笑
オブリヴィオン By遠田 潤子
メルカリでたくさん出品されてましたので新書でなくても気にしない方は安くで購入できるかと思います。
サスペンス要素の入ったフィクションで、全435ページ（光文社文庫）。割と長い。
著者：遠田潤子さん
1966年大阪生まれ。2009年『月桃夜』にてデビュー。
オブリヴィオンは2017年に「本の雑誌が選ぶ2017年度ベスト１０」第一位。
他に『雪の鉄樹』『冬雷』『廃墟の白墨』等、40以上の作品を執筆されています。
あらすじ：主人公は森二が妻である唯を殺害した罪で服役し刑務所を出所するところから始まる。罪の意識から周りとの交流を拒否し孤独に生きていこうと決めていた。唯の兄と森二は出会った頃からいろんなことを乗り越えてきた事もあり絆が深かったがその絆も当然、唯を殺害したことにより消え去ってしまった。そして森二と唯の一人娘である冬香は父を激しく責め続け娘と会わないほうが娘のためなのかと考える。こうした苦しい環境の中で、森二がなぜ妻を殺害するに至ったのかという物語の核心が彼の過去、唯と兄の関係性、森二と兄・父の関係性が明らかになるのと同時に浮かび上がってくる。
感想：それぞれの人物の性格が明確にそれぞれ描かれていて自分の中でキャラクター像を確立しやすかったのでその部分での描写は素晴らしいと思いました。話は全体的に後半にかけてペースアップしてくる感じで前半はかなりスローなので少し退屈でした。
私も著者と同じく生まれも育ちも大阪ですが本の中で使われている関西弁にやや違和感を覚えました。笑（私だけですきっと。笑）そして主人公の娘は１０歳という設定ですが絶対10歳だったらこんなこと言えないだろうっていう大人顔負けのセリフばかりでした。笑
私は現実におこりそうな題材を扱っているフィクションはできる限り現実味をだしてほしいと思うのでこういう年齢に極端にあわない人物設定はあまり評価できませんでした。そこが唯一批評するところかと感じます。それ以外はそれぞれの人物の立場に立つと、辛すぎて何度も本を閉じようと思ったほど気持ち的に辛い場面がありました。
殺人という重罪を犯し、服役中も罪の意識で苦しんだ森二は出所後も、苦しんでいる。
これからどうやって生きていけばいいのだろうか。
模倣犯となり仮釈放された。一応これで、世間では罪を償ったとされる。
だからと言って唯は生き返らない。この先、たとえどれだけ罪を償い続けたとしても、どれだけ詫び続けても、どれだけ悔やみ続けても、どれだけ善行を積んだとしても無意味だ。
決して唯は生き返らない。命を奪った罪は命でしか償えないのか？

一生罪を背負って生きていくことがどれだけ遺族や犯人を苦しめるのかということが少しは感じれたかと思いました。
そして真実がわからない苦しみというのも本文で語られますが、共感することが多く心を打たれました。わからないままだから苦しい。ほんと そうだよね って思いました。笑
それぞれの人物が大きなインシデントをどう乗り越えていくのか、過去や秘密を明らかにしながら人間の本心や闇を描いているお話でした。扱っている題材はかなり重いのでしっかり腰を据えて読むお話です。大切なことがたくさん描かれていましたので是非読んでみてください。
続いてRUN AWAY By Harlan Coben
この本は2019年に出版されたサスペンスノーベルです。
419ページありますが章が細かく分かれているのでそんなに長いなあと思う事もなくさくさく読めましたし、英語の文章もクラシックや他の著者に比べたら比較的簡単でした。
YA(Young Adult-ティーン向け）が読める方なら無理なく内容理解できると思います。
著者：Harlan Coben
1962年のアメリカの作家で主にミステリー・スリラーを中心に執筆している。
テレビショーや映画も確か手がけていたと思います。
他にも『The Woods』『The Innocent』『The Stranger』など有名作品多数。
アメリカではかなりの有名作家です。
あらすじ：主人公サイモンは妻と３人の子供と暮らしていたが長女のページが17歳になりある日家に帰ってこなくなった。彼女と交際していたボーイフレンドのアーロンは暴力的で薬をしていたりとかなり危険な人物であった。心配になったサイモンは娘を探し続けていたが一向に見つけられなかったがある日公園で娘を偶然みつける。
声をかけ連れ戻そうとするが娘は必死で逃げてしまった。なぜ逃げたのか。
そこから父であるサイモンが娘を連れ戻すために妻と協力していろんな情報を探っていく。
しかし、探れば探るほど、娘の身の回りの危険が明らかになりより一層、捜査は泥沼にはまっていく。そして有力な情報を掴んだつもりで、娘の恋人が出入りする麻薬の売人のアジトへいくが状況は一転し思わぬ方向へ進んでしまう。
命がけて娘を無事に探し出し、元どおりの幸せな生活を取り戻そうとするサイモンを中心に家族の絆や家族を守るために人間はどこまで力をだせるのかということを描いたミステリー。
感想：本当に面白かったしわくわくしたし、何が起きているのか気になり徹夜して一気に読みふけっちゃいました。最近読んだミステリーやサスペンスはどれも微妙にスリルにかけていたので久しぶりに、良書に出会えて幸運でした。あっという間に読んじゃいました。
いくつか俗にゆうどんでん返しがありますが、どれも予想を綺麗に裏切るもので痛快なぐらい驚きの連続でした。エピローグまで油断はできませんのでどうか飛ばさないように読んでください。笑 この本はネタバレなしだとあまり多くは書けませんが、子供を持つ親の気持ちというのがあらゆるところで描かれていて、多くの方が共感できる作品なのではないかと思いますし、登場人物の愛する者への愛情の深さや他人を思いやる姿には本当に感動しました。
こんな優しさや愛が存在するんだと思う節もありました。
あなたは人を殺めますか？ときかれたらもちろん いいえ と答えますが
あなたは家族のためなら人を殺めますか？ときかれたら いいえとは言い切れないかもしれません。物語はこの概念が中心です。
話を進めていくときっと最後には結果に納得すると思います。
感動あり、驚きあり、スリル満点！
読んで損はないかと思います。他の作品も是非読んでみようと思いました。

八月は洋書を２冊新書で購入し、邦書もよみきりたいのが２冊ありますので
４冊を目標に頑張りたいと思います。厳しいかな、、笑
それぞれ全部合わせると１０００ページ近いから時間的に微妙ですが。笑

If I Stay by Gayle Forman (Spoiler Free)
Hi there!
I was coming down to a cold and didn't have much time to do anything productive but here I am finally to write about the book " If I stay"
You guys probably think " wait haven't you already finished reading one of Gayle's books ??are you even a bona fide book lover ?"
I know right !
This book was actually a recommendation by a friend of mine whom I met when I was in QLD so a fun fact is that this book brings me another memory.
Anyway let's get stright into my thoughts on the book.
Summary: One day a seventeen-year-old cellist Mia with her father , Mother and her younger brother Teddy go out for a day trip on a snowy day in car.
It is suppose to be a fun trip for them but things turn out differently.
A ROAD COLLISION.
The collision kills Mia's mother and father .
And after the accident ,Mia's body slips into a coma while her consciousness is able to observe the scene in an out-of-body experience.
She sees herself in a grave condition with being treated with an intensive medical care at ICU in a hospital.
Mia is invisible .She feels no pain but her body is fighting to come back to the real world.
But then to where? With her parents gone she would be devastated which seems to be harder than to take an endless nap for Mia.
At one moment she realises that wether she wants to live or die,it's all up to her.
She is the one to decide the crucial choice.
I have to admit it is not a happy reading it is SAD and depressing .
But overall the story tells a lot of beautiful heartwarming tales which cast a big smile on my face. The story has got only Mia's perspective in terms of a story teller but I think unlike other mediocre one -perspective books, this book allows you to get to know about what other characters are thinking so for me it is easy to develop each characters . Also I like how Gayle leads a story plot without directly saying A is B .
Implication in a story could be confusing but she's done very well.
Having said that , it is cheesy and could have been great so I gave 3 out of five.
Don't get me wrong I truly like this story and adore it but it could've been much better. it is a quick read and enjoyed myself but I wasn't blown away by it as many of my friends were.Maybe Mia should have expressed her sadness to lose her mum and dad so that readers could get more compassionate with her feeling .
Because she is distant from her body so am I in a way so I guess that is the reason why I am not very much emotional.
By the way Adam is such a loveable character haha I like him so much he is such a thoughtful and romantic man. (I did not appreciate someone metaphorically brings a bow and says " play me" though.lol) Can I find a bf like him if I go to a summer camp? haha
英語学習者のみなさまへ
この本はYA(Young Adlut)のカテゴリーなので語彙・文法的にも比較的読みやすいとされています。がまだまだ初めて知った表現や語句もありましたのでいい具合に勉強になると思いますし、短く読みやすいのでおすすめです。
難易度は中級だと個人的に思います。

砂の女 By安部公房 とルビンの壷が割れた By宿野かほる
こんばんは。
コロナに豪雨災害に三浦春馬さんの悲しいニュースになんだか心が曇ってしまいますね。
多忙中の多忙で読書の時間がなかなか確保できてません(>_<)
そして風邪をひいてしまい、休みが本当の意味での休みになってしまい(>_<)
なんとか通勤中に読み終わった２冊について感想をさらっとと書きたいと思います。
まず砂の女から。
砂の女：1962年に初版が出版。今から58年前です。
読売文学賞受賞作。日本近代文学の代表作として名高く20言語で翻訳され海外でも評価が高い。
安部さんの代表作みたいですが私は安部公房さんの作品はこの砂の女が初めてでしたので他と比べてどうだったかといった意見は書きかねます。
あらすじ：ある男（仁木順平）が休暇中にハンミョウ採集のために砂丘の村へ出向く。
砂丘の中の部落の老人にある民家へ滞在するように勧められてその民家に住んでいる寡婦とであう。民家は蟻地獄のように砂の穴の底にあるが砂かきをしないと家が砂で押しつぶされてしまう。家から外へ通ずる道は縄梯子のみである。
男が一泊し帰路に着こうとしその縄梯子が取り払われていることに気がつく。
民家に寡婦と閉じ込められてしまう。が寡婦は故意に男を閉じ込める状況を作っていた。
帰れないことを知った男はパニックになりなんとか脱出する方法がないかと奮闘する。
ここからネタバレ含みます。
感想：簡単に言うと、ふかい！うまい！でした。笑
称賛されるだけの文学であることに納得です。
男と村の生活と村にくる前の生活を現代の（当時の）労働生活？とうまく比例させていて社会問題を写実的に話の中にうまく取り入れていて考えさせられる小説でした。
話の中では、砂を掻かないと家が崩れて死んでしまうので男と寡婦は毎日砂かきをしていた。生きるために砂かきをしていた。しかし生活は砂かきが中心でまわっており、ともすれば砂かきをするために生きているように思えてきてしまう。
これは現代でも当てはまると感じますね！生きるために働く必要があるのだけれど、仕事にいって寝て仕事に行って休みの日は疲れているから仕事の疲れをとるために休んで仕事に備える。なんだか仕事のために人生がまわっているような気になる。
生きることは働くこと。生きることは楽ではない。
変えられない事実ではあるけれど、この小説はそんな事実に虚しさという印象を読者に植え付けています。人生観を語る本はたくさんあるけれどこの小説は鋭い視点をもっていると思います。
そして男が毎日毎日、脱出を試みて試行錯誤していたにも関わらず、いざ脱出できる機会が訪れた時には逃げ出さなかったということから、人間の本来求めるものについて明らかにしてくれている。村での生活で得たものこの男が人生で必要であったものだった。
この結末を読んだ時、びっくりしましたがそこまでの男の心情の移り変わりをみていたら納得できましたね。わら
本当に素晴らしいです。
次は壁を読んでみようかなあと思っています。
次にルビンの壷について軽く。
ルビンの壷 By宿野かほる
ジャンルはどれだろうって思いますが、ライトノベルにサスペンスと少量のミステリ要素を掛け合わしたような？笑ジャンルでした。
ベルさんの動画を見て興味を持っていてたまたまメルカリで出品されていたので購入してみました。届いた当日に読んでその日のうちに２時間足らずで読みきりました。笑
書簡体小説です。苦手な方は向いていないかもですが全体を通しても２００ページもないのですぐ読みきれます。文章も読みやすく文学的な如何にもという表現は少なく普段から本を読まないという方でもおすすめです。
何も知らずに読んだ方が面白いと思うのであらすじは書きませんが、好き嫌いは人によって両極端に分かれますね。と言いながら私は星５で評価するなら3.5と評価します。笑
面白いのは最後だけかも。笑
宿野かほるさんは覆面ライターだから、性別も年齢もわからないですが発想が独創的で言い回しや言葉の表現力が面白いのでまた他の作品を出版されたら購入してみようと思ってます。
手の込んだミステリーとか書いて欲しいです。笑
来週はいよいよ最終面接の合否発表です。
落ちてたらもう就職口がありません。笑
業界未経験だとお荷物感が否めませんが不可能はないと信じていますので
焦らず、毎日コツコツ努力ですね。

終末のフール By伊坂幸太郎
おはようございます！
朝９時にカタカタと本の感想を書いています。
ネタバレなしなので是非、未読の方もご覧ください。
伊坂幸太郎さんすごく有名なのに今更初めて作品を読みました。
友人からのすすめもあったのでとりあえずタイトルにもあるように終末のフールを読みました。
おもしろかったです。
圧倒されたとか感動しましたとか劇的な感情はあまり抱かなかったですが、著者が考えている事がわかりやすくストーリーや、登場人物に組み込まれ文章も明快でわかりやすい本。
まず作品のあらすじをざっくり。
本作は８つの短編の連作集。
連作ではあるがチャプターを超えての登場人物同士の関わりはそこまでないので短編集に近い印象です。
１終末のフール
２太陽のシール
３籠城のビール
４冬眠のガール
５鋼鉄のウール
６天体のヨール
７演劇のオール
８深海のポール
という構成です。
ある日、八年後に小惑星が地球に衝突すると報道がされ、人々は恐怖やパニックから暴力や犯罪、自殺など様々な行動にでその後５年経過し、あと三年で地球が滅亡するという頃、仙台を舞台に余生の過ごし方や余命・死に対する考え方について描かれている。
個人的に一番はっとさせられたのは、鋼鉄のウールかな☺️
ある男性がジムに通い、キックボクシングを習っていた話です。
昔は大勢の人が練習に励んでいましたが、こんな時に（地球が３年後に滅亡するこの時期）キックボクシングなんてと辞めていく人が大半の中、残ったのは苗場と会長と僕の３人。
そこでの苗場さんの言葉ひとつひとつがすごく心に残りました。
「３年後に死ぬから生き方が変わるのか？」
「お前はあと何年生きるつもりで生きてきたんだ？」
確かに・・と頷きました。
今日１日だけしかないと思ったら今日何をしたいかとは陳腐で、したいことだけ考えて生きていけないですよね。でも生きていけないから、私たちはこの先何年も生きる前提で生きている気がします。多くの人が人生の儚さについて日々に忙殺され忘れている。
少なくとも私はそうでした。
もし三年後に地球滅亡が確定しているのなら私は今の仕事を続けたい？（転職後にはおそらくハイと答えたい。）
会いたい人は誰？（家族、恋人、犬）誰と最後の瞬間を迎えたい？（家族、恋人、犬）どこでその日を迎えたい？（自分の実家）
何を食べてから死にたい？（餃子ですね）
全部今から実行しても間に合うかなあ〜と能天気に考えたりしました。
人生短いです。死は予測できないからこそ人生の儚さや美しさ、哀しさが存在するのかと思います。そういう事を改めて考える機会をこの本は与えてくれました。
小説は時間の無駄と自己啓発本ばかり読む人へ是非強く推したいです！笑
自己啓発本ももちろん役立つし、読むことは学ぶことへ直結します。
が小説を読むと人の気持ちにたって考える機会が多くなります。
人への思いやりや優しさを培う練習になると私は信じています。
誰かを理解することへの一歩です。それは人間の道徳心の根底です。その上に知識をのせるから人間なのではないでしょうか。
脱線しました。が私はそう考えます。
そのほか各章それぞれで描かれている登場人物の考え方は多様で、こういう考えもあるんだなあと感心したものもあります。そして人物描写がとても伊坂さんは上手だと思いました。
関係性や心の内を時には明確にそして時には暗示して、読者の心にその登場人物を植えつけていくのです。最近読んだ本はここが欠けていたものが多く、感情移入できないものが多かったので久しぶりに良書に出会えたような気がします。笑
上からでごめんなさい。笑。
この本に対する建設的批判を私が書くとしたら２点ほど。
１ 各章の数を減らし、章同士の関連性を深くして欲しかった。
２ 滅亡直前の話または滅亡の結末を暗示させるものが欲しかった。
具体的には、８つの短編連作集ですが８つそれぞれに登場人物が当たり前ですが数名ずつでかなりキャラクターの数が多く、ほとんどが同じエリアにすむ住人なのでそれぞれのキャラクターに接点があるのが描かれていますが正直、ややこしかった。笑
そして接点といえど関係性はそこまで深くないです。お客でいったお店の店主が次のチャプターの主人公とかそういうレベル。
連作というより本当に短編集という感じですね。
なので４ー５つの章にして混乱を避けてそのぶん横のつながりに深みをもたせた方が構成的に読みやすかったんではないかと個人的に思います。
そして２点目に関しては、作者の描きたかった事は地球滅亡のSFではないことは１００%承知した上での希望です。笑
三年前という同じタイムラインで８つのストーリーが描かれているのにやや退屈しました。
緊迫感がなくなってくる。趣旨とはずれますが現代小説だとしても地球滅亡を題材にした人々のあり方を描くなら、読者にも登場人物が感じている最大限の緊張感や恐怖を味わせた方がより強く印象に残るだろうな〜と考えます。そこが惜しいところです！
次はどの作品を読もうかと迷っています。

Hello again .
It's been a while since the last time I posted a book reveiw .I've been struggling to get a job which is related to medical translation work and actually it got me little time to read books!! I've got a pile of TBR's haha ( the bright side:I don't spend lots of money on books)Anyway,enough waffling.
Today,I am going to write how I feel about the book "Call Me By Your Name".

Also if you are a big fan of it, you might not want to know what I think about the book and the film as well so you can skip this page and please check other reviews where I say something better lol .
In my opinion, the book is boring, writing story could've been clearly more organised,the portraits of some characters are not sufficient.
Many people love this book and I was so excited to read it but HONESTLY this is a huge let-down for me.Maybe this is not about the book but me who can not see the beauty of their relationship or intimacy.But I don't see why Elio develops his feeling toward Oliver when he visits his house because the book didn't explain enough how he fell in love with Oliver except Oliver's physical attraction .(If Oliver didn't have a handsome face and a hot body,He might have fell in love with other guy with Mr prefect?)
Or is it just a young love in the first sight ?
I've got many questions to Elio like,' Why did you try to have sex with a girl while you were fully aware of feeling toward Oliver?(I don't wanna hear you say it was because you wanted to make Oliver jealous or something)"
If he wholeheartedly loves Oliver, he shoud have sticked to it .I can not be convinced by a disroyal protagonist at all. He idealised romance but too young to understand so do not call it a love let alone a true love Ok.haha
I don't like the two protagonists which is totally fine if books have interesting premises or stories but this story is a character driven story where authors need to create interesting characters who can possibly give an impact on a story or who cause some emotional waves in readers.Othewise, a story will end up being pretty mediocre and forgettable.
By the way I watched the film despite not liking the book and I love the atmospheric setting in north Italy.On top of that I adore the music that Elio plays in a scene.
It's so relaxing and cozy.
An Italian town ....I wish I could fly there and have a big table filled with wine and flavourful fruit in the air of laughter of my friends and family.That would be absolutely fantastic.haha
It's gettig late now.
I hope the rain in Kumamoto goes away quickly and no more damage in an affected area remains.
I'm deeply shocked to know about what happened in Kumamoto and how devastated people are to have lost thier family , friends and lovers.
I am just praying for a peace.

SCYTHE by Neal Shusterman
Hello How's it going ?
Today I am reviewing a popular YA fantasy " SCYTHE" by Neal Shusterman.
I'm pretty sure there are hefty other good book reviews about the book but since it's my favorite story , I need to keep a record on how much I enjoyed it haha
this is 440 pages story so If the books hadn't been gripping enough , I would've simply DNFed it .
This story is set in a quite unique society where human has conquerd a perfect world .
In the society, You don't get suffer from diseases or any other injuries because ultimately, you shall live forever unless you are gleaned by a scythe who's job is to terminate one's life to control their overpopulated world.Yes.There is the scythedom which is sort of the institution that encompasses all scythes.
The two protagonists are Citra and Rowan who are now in their apprentice to be ordained to be a proferssional scythe.The story deals with some important topics such as morality , mortality , and suicide along with other minor troubles in life in general.
It includes some plot twists but overall, the story is not hard to follow so for those who don't read a lot of books and need to start off with something not complex ,I HIGHLY recommend it.Each chapters are well organised.
Admittedly ,this book had been on my TBR for a long time and I have no idea why it took me so long to pick it up.I should have read it earlier because OH MY GOODNESS!!
I THOUROUGHLY ENJOYED IT and let me tell you from around the over 100pages , this book becomes an unputdownable one.(Frankly,the beginning of the story is kind of slow and dull.) I love how the author injects the element of thrilling adventure vibe into the story . It really got me.
The plausible world setting is also intriguing which is remarkably unique.
I think the premise is what makes the book stand out most amongst many other fantasy novels. Well done Neal.haha
Throughout the story, I was thinking what if the act of killing was not just a fiction thing but a reality like would I hope to be gleaned if there were not any other way to die?
What if I were the one to be a scythe who commit their whole life to glean people for our society ? Would I feel constantly guilty or traumatised ? How can I pick and choose who to die and not?
How likely these situations to happen in real?Because , I can not say this won't happen ever with our technology advancement today.No one can tell what future holds.
I really appreciate how the author gave me this oppotunity to actually think the kind of matters .I believe it's incredibly important since it allows us to actually be grateful for where we are today and what we have. this sounds a wee bit dramatic but this is what I feel.
By the way I gave 4 stars out of 5 on GRs.
The only thing I don't like about this book is how poorly the relationship between Citra and Rowan is told in the book. I wanted to know why there are important each other, Why they fell in love each other and how they build their feelings to the point where they could nearly cost their own life etc.
Anyway this is MUST MUST read .
Very thought-provoking and gripping story.
I love most characters .

I'm sorry I haven't posted anything recently at all (I'm not sure who set a high expectation to this blog though LOL)
I've been really busy with job hunting and my current work so I haven't had enough time to read a lot of books.
Anyway , I finished BIRTHDAY GIRL the beginning of this month and I really wanted to talk about it.
Sooooo here I am !!
4 stars out of 5 on GRs
The story follows a girl called Jordan and a guy called Pike .
One day they met a town theatre and Although Jordan is in relationship with Cole, something between them quietly sparked.Pike is 38 and Jordan is 19. But they had a really good time together .
Her relationship with her boyfriend seems perfectly fine untill they kicked out from thier flat because of his problematic behaviour so they were forced to move in to a new place at an affordable price, which is rather hard when you are 19 and not entirely comfortable with your financial situation.Cole suggests Jordan that they move in his dad's house where he lives alone for a very long time untill they save up enough money to afford a place to rent .
She initially doesn't think highly of his Idea but then she doesn't have a choice either .
On the day , she and her boyfriend move in , Jordan gasps what she sees. The guy whom she met at a theatre the other day is her bf's father.
The spark that they felt on the day they met is forbidden.
But now unfortunately they live under the same roof .

Pike is freaking cool and incredibly thoughtful,passionate and loveable !Oh gosh I wish I had a bf like him who gives a beautiful rose colour cake on my birthday!what a life!!
just kidding .
it is not about cakes or free-rent- and- bills- flat story haha
it is about a pure (skeptical in a sense),beautiful and fun romance story.
I think this is like a rollercoaster reading experience where a lot of emotional journies are taken place haha
I am wondering I'm the only one who is not a big fan of Jordan because she is being bitch from time to time thinking herself like a queen who just needs a man with a hot body and a good looking face who provides what she needs or likes ?
I'm most pissed off when she constantly says something along the line of" I'm not going to love him"
Don't get me wrong I'm fully aware that their love has many problems. BUUUUT!
I was like DON'T LIE TO YOURSELF and PRETEND to be a cool kid . if you want to put your lips on his lips , it is definietely not a roommate it is FUCKING something.
DON'T try to be arrogant to Pike because personally I love Pike so much LOL
Honesly , when she told Pike " I've got a viblator in my room which got bigger balls than you " during their quarreling,
I was shouting WHAT THE HELL JORDAN PLEASE!!!!!!!
I knew you were kind of the type of person who could says that much nasty things to a person who cares SO MUCH about you but it is not at all respectful to say the least!!
Well ,I just should stop rambling about the protagonist.
Anyway ,I think this book is really enjoyable and causes a lot of emotions so I really like it in spite of the existence of Jordan.hahaha
So if you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend it .
